Brush for Change TOOTHBRUSH – Staggered cut  Bristle

Available in 2 and 6 Packs

NOW IS THE TIME FOR CHANGE:

That’s what we thought when we were creating the Brush for ChangeTM concept here in Australia.

We loved the concept of a bamboo handled toothbrush that had a lot less impact on the environment than those plastic ones out there.   But we wanted to do more.

More than just sell another toothbrush, we wanted to give back.

So with Brush for Change we decided to not only offer a great toothbrush at a great price but to give away some toothbrushes PLUS give away some money from each sale as well – you know PAY IT FORWARD…

So here we are from our little home in Queensland, where we are sending out our brush for change toothbrushes all over the country and would love you to join us in making a difference.

The Handle

The Brush for Change handle is made of MOSO bamboo, an environmentally sustainable resource and is technically considered a member of the grass family. It is one of the fastest growing plants on earth, and incredibly abundant. Our bamboo is cultivated for between three to five years, and then harvested. It re-generates itself naturally, with minimal rain and without the need for harmful pesticides. In fact, by harvesting and using the bamboo, we help to control unwanted spread into agricultural and natural forest areas.

Our bamboo is grown by many local farmers (NOT PLANTATION).

The brush for change bamboo is heat treated to carbonize the surface of the bamboo, giving it a quality finish and good service life. The carbonization finishing process provides water resistance and prevents the growth of microbes (bacteria and molds) during normal use.

When you purchase our Eco Friendly Brush for ChangeTM toothbrushes we give back.

20% of every sale of our brush for change toothbrushes is donated to the Australian Marine Conservation Society.

The Bristles

The bristles are made from a  BPA FREE polymer (Nylon Blend) resistant to microbial growth during normal use, to ensure safety and durability.

We have tried to find a biodegradable bristle but as of this time there is nothing available – apart from boars hair (don’t want to go there). No they are not Nylon 4 (there are no bristles made from Nylon 4 on the market today).

We recommend you rinse and dry your toothbrush after use to keep it clean.
